Versatile and Flexible Design
AKINCI ZMA is developed as a multi-purpose platform capable of performing a wide range of missions through the integration of different subsystems. As an enhanced version of its predecessor, the ZMA-15, AKINCI ZMA offers 90% compatibility in common subsystems and spare parts with other vehicles in the series, providing significant advantages in logistics and maintenance processes.
Standing out especially with its extended hull design (6 road wheels), reinforced shock absorbers, spacious interior, and increased carrying capacity, AKINCI ZMA can carry heavy weapon systems such as 90/105 mm turret guns or 120 mm mortar systems. Despite these high capabilities, it never compromises on mobility and armor protection.
Performing at the Top on the Field
Thanks to its tracked and low-profile design, AKINCI ZMA can move swiftly and agilely over deserts, muddy and rugged terrains, as well as on asphalt or stabilized roads. Personnel enter and exit the vehicle via the rear hydraulic ramp or door, while wide opening hatches for the driver, commander, and gunner are positioned on top of the vehicle.
Technological Details and Safety
Maintenance of the vehicle is easily carried out through accessible covers that provide entry to the power unit. Two armored and insulated fuel tanks are located at the rear for weight balance and personnel safety. The hull is constructed by welding ballistic aluminum plates using aluminum welding techniques, featuring waterproof capabilities.
Laser-protected glass periscopes provide 360-degree panoramic vision for the commander, gunner, driver, and personnel, while night vision systems can be integrated optionally to allow safe driving in darkness.
