FNSS Unveils ÇAKA AT-K Turret at IDEF 2025, Enhancing Coastal Strike Capabilities

At IDEF 2025, FNSS introduced its latest innovation in modular firepower—the ÇAKA AT-K turret. Designed for littoral and amphibious warfare, this system reflects Türkiye’s strategic focus on flexible, high-precision coastal defense solutions.

The ÇAKA AT-K integrates a CANiK M2 QCB 12.7 mm heavy machine gun and twin short-range anti-tank guided missile launchers into a compact, stabilized remote weapon station. Its lightweight and modular design ensures compatibility across various platforms, from amphibious armored vehicles and fast assault boats to land patrol units.

Derived from the original ÇAKA system developed alongside the Marine Assault Vehicle (MAV/ZAHA) program, the AT-K variant focuses on enhanced lethality and cross-domain adaptability. Its debut represents FNSS’s answer to the increasing need for mobile, multi-role weapon stations in confined or contested coastal regions.

Compared to Western systems like Kongsberg’s PROTECTOR or Rheinmetall’s FLW 200, ÇAKA AT-K offers superior maritime integration in a more compact footprint. It supports joint operations between naval and land forces by merging anti-tank power, remote operation, and stabilized optics into one unified solution.

Strategically, the system strengthens Türkiye’s anti-access and area-denial (A2/AD) capabilities in choke points and littoral zones. It also contributes to Türkiye’s growing defense export goals, particularly in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa—regions with high demand for mobile coastal protection.

Presented with strong interest at IDEF 2025, the ÇAKA AT-K highlights FNSS’s dedication to developing smart, mission-adaptable, and export-ready systems for the evolving battlefield.
