Turkey’s leading defense industry company, ASELSAN, has signed new contracts with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) for Air Defense Systems projects, with agreements exceeding 1 billion euros in total value. The parties reached an agreement for contracts totaling 1,122,139,260 euros, in addition to ongoing serial production programs.
These contracts are seen as a critical step in reinforcing ASELSAN’s leadership in air defense technologies. According to the announcement, deliveries under the agreements are scheduled between 2027 and 2030. During this period, ASELSAN will both increase its production capacity and continue investing in infrastructure to ensure timely completion of the projects.
Experts indicate that contracts of this scale will have a positive impact on Turkey’s defense industry ecosystem. With ongoing projects and these new agreements, ASELSAN will strengthen domestic production capabilities while significantly supporting national defense security.
