Stalker UAS Sets New Standard for Long-Endurance, Versatile Reconnaissance in Contested Environments

The Stalker Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) has firmly established itself as a game-changing asset for Special Forces worldwide, delivering exceptional long-endurance imaging and operational flexibility in challenging and contested environments.

This Group 2 UAS uniquely blends the portability of a compact system with the endurance and payload capabilities typically found in much larger, more expensive platforms. The Stalker VXE and XE variants boast class-leading flight times of over eight hours—thanks to an innovative propane-powered Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)—or alternatively four hours on a battery-powered configuration for mission adaptability in the field.

Recent upgrades to the Stalker VXE Block 30 include a next-generation vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) system, enabling operations from austere and confined locations globally. Meanwhile, the Stalker XE Block 25 can be hand-launched via bungee or rail systems, further enhancing its deployment versatility.

Equipped with a stabilized pan-tilt-zoom electro-optical sensor suite, infrared and low-light cameras, the Stalker delivers high-resolution imaging with advanced target lock and tracking capabilities. Its open digital architecture supports rapid integration of cutting-edge payloads, including a precision droppable payload compartment that allows operators to release small items accurately from the air.

With a wingspan of 16 feet, maximum takeoff weight of up to 48 pounds, and operational ceilings reaching 12,000 feet, the Stalker is optimized for demanding ISR missions with a minimal crew footprint—typically operated by one or two personnel.

The Stalker UAS exemplifies how compact, silent, and highly capable unmanned systems are transforming intelligence gathering and special operations globally, providing reliable and persistent situational awareness wherever missions take them.
