M-tron Lands $5.5M Deal to Supply RF Components for U.S. Navy Weapon System

M-tron Industries has clinched a $5.5 million contract to deliver advanced radio frequency (RF) components for a critical U.S. Navy weapon system.

The deal encompasses durable crystal and lumped-element filters engineered to withstand extreme operational conditions. These components are integral to a long-term defense program that M-tron has been supporting for nearly a decade.

Production will take place at M-tron’s Orlando, Florida facility, with completion slated for 2026. The overarching program is projected to remain active through at least 2035.

While details about the specific naval platform remain undisclosed, such RF technologies are commonly utilized in radar systems, electronic warfare equipment, and secure communication networks.

M-tron’s Ongoing Defense Contributions

This latest contract strengthens M-tron’s established role in key U.S. defense initiatives.

Earlier this month, the company secured a separate $3 million agreement to provide crystal and cavity RF filters for a major air defense system.

Specializing in RF components like filters, oscillators, and resonators, M-tron delivers critical technology for radar, electronic warfare, and communications systems used by U.S. and allied forces.

Both contracts will be fulfilled at the company’s Orlando manufacturing hub.
