Tensions in the Middle East have flared up once again. Despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s ceasefire announcement on the 12th day of the conflict, the fighting has not ceased. Israel accused Iran of violating the truce by launching missile attacks and responded with a counterstrike. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant Katz stated that he personally gave the order for the attack. Iran, however, firmly denied the allegations of a ceasefire breach.
Meanwhile, President Trump acknowledged that both sides had violated the ceasefire, underlining the delicate nature of the situation, but reaffirmed that the truce remains in effect.
Tehran and Babolsar Targeted
Reports indicate that an Iranian radar station was struck during Israel’s air operation. Explosions were heard in Tehran, while Iranian media claimed that the northern city of Babolsar was also targeted. No detailed official statement has been released by Iranian authorities, but heightened alert has been declared in the region.
As tensions continue to escalate between the two nations, international attention is once again turning toward diplomatic efforts and global reactions.
