MSPO 2025: Poland’s Premier Defence Expo Emerges as Global Security Nexus

From September 2 to 5, 2025, the city of Kielce, Poland will once again host the 33rd edition of the MSPO (International Defence Industry Exhibition) — an event that has grown into one of Europe’s most influential defence expos and a crucial forum for shaping global security dialogue.

As geopolitical tensions continue to rise and defence budgets hit record highs, MSPO 2025 is more than an exhibition — it’s a strategic platform for government delegations, defence manufacturers, and military leaders to showcase new technologies, strengthen partnerships, and align on collective security goals. Already, over 400 companies from 31 countries have committed to attend, reserving nearly 30,000 m² of exhibit space across eight halls and outdoor zones. The show enjoys the honorary patronage of the President of Poland, with robust support from the Ministry of National Defence, Armaments Agency, and Polish Armaments Group.

With Poland allocating more than 4% of its GDP to military modernization — one of the highest rates in NATO — the country is becoming a central actor in Europe’s defence ecosystem. As Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, CEO of Targi Kielce, noted: “We are witnessing a decade of intensive rearmament. MSPO is at the very heart of this transformation.”

A major highlight will be the 26th Armed Forces Exhibition, held under the banner: “Modern Armed Forces Create a Strong and Secure Future.” This large-scale display, coordinated by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces, will include over 1,000 Polish Army personnel, demonstrating readiness, new weapons systems, and NATO-interoperable technologies. The exhibition provides both a national and alliance-level perspective on defence preparedness.

MSPO 2025 will also host senior-level conferences, industry seminars, and official visits by international military attachés. Furthermore, the event will once again recognise excellence with prestigious honours such as the President of the Republic of Poland Award, the Minister of National Defence Distinction, and the Defender Award.

Over the years, MSPO has become a catalyst for major defence contracts, often signed on-site and valued in the hundreds of millions. With global security at a crossroads, MSPO 2025 is positioned to influence not only procurement, but also long-term strategy, cooperation, and capability development for NATO and beyond.
